Justin Nay, PhD. of Durham, is the President and founder of Integral Ag Inc. He watches ground up and down the Central Valley, enabling him to compare and observe differences throughout the state on a wide range of commodities.

Nate Laux of Porterville, was the first consulting partner to join the company in 2011.  Since then he has continued to grow his acreage and influence in Kern, Tulare, and Madera counties, as well as outside of California and is now a senior partner.

Mateo Marquez of Biggs, became a full partner in 2012. Since that time he has expanded his influence in many areas of the north valley and is now an indispensable component of our business.

Kevin Poythress of Fresno, became a partner in 2019.  His clients are concentrated in Kern, Madera, Fresno and Tulare counties.

Joseph King of Orland, became a partner in 2019.  He covers Butte, Glenn, Tehama, and Yolo counties.

Integral Ag. Inc. was formed with the mindset that each future partner PCA will get a minimum of two years of one-on-one training to help prepare them for their future as an independent consultant.  Thus far, each partner has been trained under the guidance of our lead PCA, Justin.  After that time they can expand into a role as a junior partner where the lead PCA is still involved with various aspects of the day to day management and service for clients, but the expectation is that the junior partner will start to find their own clients for which they manage entirely under their own authority.  Once the junior partner demonstrates they have the ability to properly guide their clients and uphold the principles of Integral Ag they are made a senior partner.

We now service more than 75,000 acres throughout the state providing services on 15 commodities and rising.

Justin Nay, PhD. and Elizabeth Boyd, PhD. are the founders of Integral Ag, Inc.  In 2008, when considering names for the company it was important to blend the concepts of science, mathematics, professional work ethic, and agriculture into one simple name.  There were a number of variations but Integral Ag., Inc. ultimately brought that vision to life.

The original logo has the calculus integral separating the abbreviation for the word agriculture (AG.).  The word integral has a number of positive meanings, including being the root of integrity, being necessary or required, but also mathematically being simplified down to the sum of the parts equals the whole.

The arrows that surround the logo capture the main aspects of our day to day work.  We are independent consultants who also conduct research, with the circle meant to show how these are on a continuum and encompass the interior integral.
